Integrated Data Model

Overview

Lucid’s Integrated Data Model enables you to combine standardized entities across a domain into a unified schema, supporting both Data Vault and Dimensional Modeling.


Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to Integrated Data Model

From the left-hand navigation menu, click on the Integrated Data Model icon.

Then, select the domain area (e.g., Policy Management, Customer Management) you want to work with.

2. Generate Integrated Entities

Click the Generate button to initiate LLM-based generation of relevant entities.

The generated entities are auto-saved into your project under the selected domain.

3. Entity Mapping Using LLM

Choose the entity you want to enrich.

  • Click Entity Mapping
  • Enter a relevant prompt describing how the entity should be constructed or related to other tables
  • Click Generate

4. Accept or Modify Entity Mapping

Review the LLM-generated suggestions.

Click Accept to confirm or make necessary edits before saving the mapping.

5. Generate & Accept Attributes

Click the ✨ wand icon to automatically generate attributes for the selected entity.

Review, edit if needed, and then click Accept to finalize the attribute list.

✅ Once all mappings and attributes are finalized, the integrated model is ready for downstream transformation and analysis.
