Deploying to a Data Lake or Data Warehouse​

Deploying your entities involves transferring the data to a specified container in either a data lake or a data warehouse. Follow these steps to deploy your entities:

DeployingToDataLake

  1. Select Entities for Deployment:

    • Review the list of entities and the data lake zones of the respective entity.
    • Check the boxes next to the entities you want to deploy.

  2. View Service Connection Details:

    • Click on the "Entity ID" of the entity you want to deploy.
    • Verify the service connection details for the selected entity.
    • Note: If needed, you can modify the source connection details from the Data Pod creation page.

  3. Deploy to Data Lake:

    • After verifying the service connection details, click on the "Load Data Lake" button to transfer the contents to the specified container.
    • Confirm that the data table status changes from "Not deployed" to "Deployed".

  4. Deploy to Data Warehouse:

    • Alternatively, click on the "Load Data Warehouse" button to transfer the contents to the specified container in the data warehouse.
    • Confirm that the data table status changes from "Not deployed" to "Deployed".
